Where do the Asian Speed Dating Events take place?
Asian Singles Dating events take place in different types of venues all over the country. Not everyone is comfortable meeting strangers in a bar, or being sat down with someone for 1 hour that they do not know, so our themed events are a fantastic way to boost your confidence and break the ice with your potential dates.
What should I wear?
Quite simply first impressions last and our events do have dress codes, even if they do not, it's always best to look your best so we would recommend:
Male Dress Code: Suits / Shirts/ Blazers / Trousers and Shoes
Female Dress Code: Glamorous / Cocktail Dress
What should I say?
It would be awful to set out a script (If you want one that is another £5 please – Just kidding), try and think of about 3 different questions you would feel comfortable with a stranger asking you. Don't be scared to ask questions about things you have an interest in and whilst everyone loves to talk, it pays to listen as well.
You can ask serious questions like "Are you voting Labour or Tory next election?" but that might get a yawn from some. So be a little inventive and use an Ice Breaking question like "If you could be in a movie with 3 famous actors/actresses, who would they be and why?"
Or be a little more zany with, well actually let us leave that to you to think of.
There is no script, but think of a few questions, you really only need a few to get the ball rolling, and no ordering ice and breaking it doesn't always start a conversation literally.
