Top 10 Asian Makeup Artists UK 2012The Top 10 Asian Makeup Artists UK 2012 has a unique selection process which is not based on how many projects they have done, but based on the feedback from the general public, they will decide who is the Best South Asian Makeup Artist in the UK by voting for their Favourite Asian Makeup Artist and clicking "Like" on their picture via KZ Entertainment Fanpage! The Best Asian Makeup Artist candidates with the most votes are passed to independent panel of judges in the UK Asian Fashion and Beauty Industry.
The judging panel shall be able to choose one wild card Make Up Artist. If they deem their work to be exceptional, the judges can enter one wildcard entrant into the final Top 10 Asian Makeup Artist UK list.
If you would like to be considered for next years Top 10 Asian Makeup Artist UK, please upload three pictures of your work to KZ Entertainment Fanpage please remember to credit the relevant people!

EASTERN EYE MUSIC AWARDS WINNERS FOR 2011…Punjabi artists dominated Eastern Eye newspaper’s annual end of year music awards. The 2011 winners, which were announced in the popular British newspaper on December 23, included Jay Sean who won Best Male and Hard Kaur who won Best Female. It was double delight for PBN who won Best Music Producer for the second year in a row and Best Single for his hit track Fitteh Moo. Garry Sandhu was named Best Newcomer, critically acclaimed Jassi Sidhu release Singing Between The Lines was named Best Album, Foji track Pumbeeri was named Best Music Video and Soul funk act Botown won Best Band. Radio 1 DJ Nihal Arthanayake held onto his title of Best DJ and hot British Asian newcomer RKZ was given Best Unsigned Act. Meanwhile Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was named Best International Male and Sunidhi Chauhan the Best International Female.
Soul sensation Jay Sean was clearly delighted with the win and paid tribute to Eastern Eye for supporting him from the beginning. "The Asian scene has given me so much support since day one; I even remember Eastern Eye Magazine was the first front cover I ever did, nearly ten years ago! Without my fans and without the ongoing support over the years, I wouldn't be able to do what I do. So for that, I thank you! I hope to keep doing the scene proud," said Jay.
PBN said he was overwhelmed at being named Best Music Producer for the second year in a row by Eastern Eye and was delighted Fitteh Moo was named as Best Single. “I am very humbled and thank everyone at Eastern Eye for awarding me with best single of 2011. Most importantly I am indebted to my fans for another year of your amazing support, thank you,” said PBN.
Meanwhile bhangra superstar Jassi Sidhu said he felt honoured the public loved what will probably be his last ever album. “It means a lot to still have the UK public support me after nearly 18 years and means even more so seeing as we now live in the unfortunate 'singles' world. I tried to make an album that had something for everyone. As my last album I couldn't have asked for more,” said Jassi.
Best Unsigned actor winner RKZ said Eastern Eye was a great platform for new artists and Best DJ winner Nihal Arthanayake said a great passion for music was the key to success. Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir, who was the chairman of the judging panel, thinks this is a good indicator that UK is once again leading the way in terms of culturally diverse music. “British Asian music talent is making a mark all over the world in different genres and this year’s winners are a perfect illustration of that. Whilst the best bhangra music continued to come out of England, Jay Sean is continuing to make giant strides in the western mainstream and Hard Kaur is still unstoppable in Bollywood. An impressive generation of newcomers emerging shows that the music scene is enjoying a great revival.”
