BIOGRAPHY

Heidi Klum was born in Berisch Gladbach, Germany in 1973 and started her modeling career in early 1990's. Klum's parents worked in the cosmetics and beauty fields, influencing her choice in pursuing a fashion career.

In 1992 at the age of 18 Heidi Klum entered the "Model 92" modeling competition in Germany and won it. This event had a major impact on Heidi's developing career. Through her win, she signed a number of modeling contracts and got the opportunity to work in New York, Milan, and Paris. In 1997 Heidi Klum became a Victoria's Secret model, working alongside such supermodels as Gisele Bundchen, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrosio. 

Today Klum is considered to be a model, fashion designer, and actress. Her acting skills were shown in the television series "Spin City".Heidi Klum gave birth to a child with her current husband and famous British pop singer Seal in 2005. Klum also has a daughter (born 2004) from her previous marriage.
