Akshay, Ajay & Salman battle it out this Diwali!

Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan will all collide at the Box-Office this Friday in a bid to entertain audiences on one of the most profitable weekends in the Asian calendar.

Though 2008 lacked in terms of a range of Diwali releases, 2009 promises to bring drama, action and comedy to cinemas nationwide in the form of Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Blue & All The Best.

All The Best boasts of some big names such as Ajay Devgan, Bipasha Basu, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and Mughda Godse all starring in a typical Bollywood ‘leave your brains at home’ comedy. You can also catch Sanjay Dutt in another of this weekend’s releases, Blue. Blue has been surrounded by hype with it being Kylie Mingoue’s Bollywood debut. Apart from Sanjay Dutt and Kylie Minogue, you can also see Akshay Kumar, Zayed Khan, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif in this action flick which has been rumoured to have had the highest budget ever for a Bollywood film. In contrast to both of these films, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna deals with the issue of extra marital affairs and stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sohail Khan and Preity Zinta and Govinda in special appearances.

It seems like after a fairly quite Diwali at the UK Box-Office in 2008, Diwali 2009 is all set to sizzle with a blend of big names, exciting genres and great music!
